Modification and Supplementation of the List of Pesticides Permitted for Use in Vietnam

On October 08, 2018, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development issued Circular 13/2018/TT-BNNPTNT amending and supplementing Circular 03/2018/TT-BNNPTNT on the promulgation of the list of plant protection drugs permitted and prohibited for use in Vietnam.

Circular 13 has amended and supplemented the officially registered and additionally registered plant protection drugs into the List of plant protection drugs permitted for use in Vietnam, specifically:

The officially registered plant protection drugs include:

- Insecticides: 06 active ingredients, 08 trade names;- Fungicides: 07 active ingredients, 07 trade names;- Post-harvest preservation agents: 01 active ingredient, 01 trade name.

The additionally registered plant protection drugs include:

- Insecticides: 121 active ingredients, 151 trade names;- Fungicides: 70 active ingredients, 87 trade names;- Herbicides: 13 active ingredients, 18 trade names;- Growth regulators: 03 active ingredients, 06 trade names;- Rodenticides: 01 active ingredient, 01 trade name;- Post-harvest preservation agents: 01 active ingredient, 01 trade name.
