This is one of the duties and powers of the Ministry of Justice as stipulated in Decree 96/2017/ND-CP, which regulates the functions, duties, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Justice.
The Ministry of Justice has a number of duties and powers, including:
- Submitting to the Government of Vietnam draft laws and resolutions of the National Assembly, draft ordinances, draft resolutions of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly; draft decrees and resolutions of the Government of Vietnam according to the approved annual legislative program and plan, as well as other projects and proposals assigned by the Government of Vietnam and the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam.- Submitting to the Government of Vietnam strategies, master plans, long-term, 5-year, and annual development programs and plans, and important national projects; submitting to the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam draft decisions and directives on areas under the state management scope of the Ministry.- Issuing circulars, decisions, directives, and other documents within the state management scope of the Ministry.- Directing, guiding, inspecting, and organizing the implementation of approved legal documents, strategies, master plans, programs, plans, projects, and proposals within the state management scope of the Ministry.- Guiding, inspecting, and urging the review, codification, and consolidation of legal documents.- Disseminating and educating about the law and mediating in the community.- Guiding professional work, inspecting legal affairs for ministries, central authorities and local authorities, state enterprises, providing legal assistance to enterprises, and carrying out legal support activities for enterprises in accordance with the law.- ...
