On January 1, 2023, the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam issued Decision 01/QD-BNV on the Work Program of the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2023.

Thus, one of the key tasks set in 2023 is to submit to competent authorities the roadmap for wage policy reform according to Resolution 27-NQ/TW of the XII Central Committee and complete the system of mechanisms and policies to proactively implement wage policy reform to ensure life, improve labor productivity and quality of human resources.
Specifically, at the Work Program of the Ministry of Home Affairs in 2023, the tasks set for the Department of Wages to implement wage reform are as follows:
