On May 15, 2014, the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam issued Circular 14/2014/TT-BTP on elaboration of Decree 59/2012/ND-CP on supervision of the law enforcement.

According to Circular 14/2014/TT-BTP, based on the specific requirements of each supervision activity of law enforcement, the Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, Governmental agencies, and People's Committees at all levels in Vietnam request agencies and organizations to coordinate the supervision of law enforcement according to the following contents:
- The People's Procuracy, People's Courts provide information on law enforcement by agencies, organizations, and individuals through prosecutorial activities, supervision of judicial activities, and trials;
- The Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations provide information and recommendations from the people through activities supervision of law enforcement; the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front cooperates with the Ministry of Justice to propose focal areas for the supervision of law enforcement in the Government of Vietnam’s resolution on key tasks and solutions for directing and administering the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and annual state budget estimates;
- The Vietnam Lawyers Association, the Vietnam Bar Federation, and the Bar Associations provide opinions and recommendations of legal experts and lawyers on legal matters related to law enforcement;
- The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and professional associations provide opinions and recommendations of enterprises and members regarding the promptness and completeness in law enforcement by competent state agencies; the accuracy and consistency in guiding and applying laws by competent state agencies; the consistency, coordination, and feasibility of legal documents, and other related matters; cooperate with the Ministry of Justice to propose focal areas for the supervision of law enforcement in the Government of Vietnam’s resolution on key tasks and solutions for directing and administering the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and annual state budget estimates;
- The mass media provide the opinions and reflections of public opinion on law enforcement.
