On December 28, 2018, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam issued Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate level and college level in technical mechanics fields.
Minimum volume of knowledge for mechanical equipment fabrication at college level in Vietnam
Regulations on minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate level, college level in the field of mechanical equipment fabrication issued with the Circular 47/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulate the minimum knowledge that learners must achieve after graduating from the college level in mechanical equipment fabrication as follows:
- Be able to present the structural diagram and working principles of common and modern mechanical transmission mechanisms;
- Describe the deformation process of metals when external forces are applied;
- Be able to present the method of selecting types of materials and equipment suitable for manufacturing requirements;
- Be able to present methods for calculating material strength, tolerances of structures on complex drawings;
- Analyze the method of reading construction drawings and related documents;
- Be able to present methods for calculating, implementing, and arranging the cutting of metals to save materials;
- Analyze the technological process of mechanical equipment fabrication and be able to establish the technological process;
- Be able to present content regarding safety, fire protection, industrial hygiene;
- Describe and plan tasks in mechanical equipment fabrication;
- Manage product quality after processing;
- Be able to present basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, and physical education according to regulations.
