- Explain the principles of structure, operation, usage, technical parameters, and errors of common geodetic instruments such as: Theodolites, Leveling Instruments, Total Stations, GNSS Receivers;

- Explain the process of using, maintaining, checking, and simple error calibration of geodetic instruments;

- Explain the process and methods of constructing control networks using traditional methods and GNSS technology;

- Explain the process of mapping, creating topographical maps, and different types of topographical profiles;

- Explain the preliminary layout methods for construction projects;

- Explain the methods for determining benchmarks and measuring surface deformation;

- Explain different types of errors and the methods for simple error computation in geodetic surveys;

- Describe the process of using common geodetic software for creating topographical and construction maps;

- Explain the safe and effective implementation methods of project execution; evaluate the results of task performance;

- Explain the basic knowledge of politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, and physical education as prescribed.

Additionally, regarding skills, learners must meet the following minimum requirements:

- Operate common geodetic instruments such as: Theodolites, Leveling Instruments, Total Stations, GNSS Receivers;

- Check and calibrate simple errors of common geodetic instruments such as: Theodolites, Leveling Instruments, Total Stations, GNSS Receivers;

- Measure and calculate control networks using traditional methods and GNSS technology;

- Map and create various types of topographical profiles;

- Measure and calculate fundamental elements for preliminary construction layout;

- Utilize common geodetic software to create maps and surveys for projects: Traffic, Irrigation, Hydro-electric;

- Place benchmarks and measure surface deformation;

- Implement effective and safe work plans;

- Apply new technologies and green skills to meet the demands of Industry 4.0 in geodetic surveys;

- Utilize basic information technology as prescribed; apply information technology in some professional tasks of the field;

- Use basic foreign languages at level 1/6 according to Vietnam's language proficiency framework; apply foreign languages in some professional tasks of the field.

Moreover, learners must achieve the following minimum levels of autonomy and responsibility:

- Be careful, meticulous, serious, and economical with materials and resources;

- Work independently or in teams, handling work in changing conditions;

- Have professional ethics, honesty in survey, calculation, adjustment and preliminary layout results;

- Evaluate individual performance; ensure the implementation of plans, schedules, and assigned tasks;

- Take responsibility for individual work;

- Ensure safety for people, machines, equipment, and tools during task execution.
