On December 28, 2018, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs issued Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating at intermediate level, college level for fields, and professions in health and social services.
Minimum Knowledge Achieved After Graduating from College of Technical Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Medicine - Illustration
In the Regulation on minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate level, college level in physiotherapy and rehabilitation medicine, issued with the Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge achieved after graduating from the College of Technical Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Medicine is stipulated as follows:
- Explain basic knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, genetic biology, pathology, pharmacology, initial emergency care in planning for treatment and care;
- Describe acupuncture and non-medicinal treatment methods (traditional medicine) for rehabilitation of patients;
- Explain the causes and symptoms in physiotherapy treatments for the cardiovascular-respiratory system, nervous-muscular system, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and community-based rehabilitation;
- Describe therapeutic exercise methods, the process of functional assessment of the motor system, the process of preserving physiotherapy equipment in treatment;
- Analyze the therapeutic effects in cases of physiotherapy for the cardiovascular-respiratory system, nervous-muscular system, musculoskeletal system, and community-based rehabilitation;
- Describe basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, and physical education as prescribed.
