Method of Disbursing Policies for Citizens Enrolled in Military Service

Decree 13/2016/ND-CP was signed and promulgated by the Government of Vietnam, stipulating the order, procedures for registration, and policies of citizens during the period of registration, examination, and health check for military service.

time spent traveling, registering for military service, or undergoing medical examination for 4 hours or more in a day is considered a full day; less than 4 hours is considered a half-day.

The responsibility for payment of policies lies with the following agencies:

- Citizens working in agencies or organizations receiving salaries from the state budget, state-owned enterprises when registering for military service; undergoing medical examination as per the order of the Commander of the District Military Command are paid by the respective agency, organization, or enterprise;- Citizens not employed by agencies or organizations receiving salaries from the state budget, state-owned enterprises when registering for military service are paid by the Commune Military Command and settled with the District Military Command;- Citizens not employed by agencies or organizations receiving salaries from the state budget, state-owned enterprises when undergoing medical examination as per the order of the Commander of the District Military Command are paid by the District Military Command.
