The details of this content are stipulated in Circular 196/2016/TT-BTC, which prescribes the rates of collection, policies for collection, payment, management, and use of the fees for exploitation and use of survey and mapping data.
According to the provisions of Circular 196/2016/TT-BTC, the management and use of the fees for exploiting and using surveying and mapping data information are implemented as follows:
- Fee-collecting organizations are allowed to retain 60% of the total fee collected to cover service provision costs, fee collection costs, and must remit 40% to the state budget, except in the cases specified below.- In cases where the fee-collecting organization is a state agency not subject to operating cost quotas from fee revenues as per Clause 1, Article 4 of Decree 120/2016/ND-CP, 100% of the collected fees must be remitted to the state budget. The cost of covering service provision and fee collection activities is borne by the state budget.
