Maximum service charges for public services in press publishing in Vietnam

The Minister of Information and Communications has just issued Circular 04/2016/TT-BTTTT stipulating the maximum service charge rates for public utility services in the publication of press activities.

The maximum service charges for public services for press publishing over different periods are stipulated in Circular 04/2016/TT-BTTTT as follows:

First, the maximum service charges for public services for press publishing for the period 2016-2017:

In detail

- Intra-province press publishing means publishing within the borders of a province or centrally governed city.

- press publishing in provinces with printing points means publishing in provinces or centrally governed cities where the editorial offices have their printing points.

- Inter-province press publishing means publishing from a province with printing points to other centrally governed provinces or cities.

Second, the maximum service charges for public services for press publishing for the period 2018-2019:

- The maximum charge for the distribution of Nhan Dan Newspaper, People's Army Newspaper, newspapers of provincial and central cities party committees increases by 60% compared to the tariffs specified in the above table.

- The maximum charge for the distribution of Communist Review increases by 20% compared to the tariffs specified in the above table.

This Circular emphasizes that Nhan Dan Newspaper, People's Army Newspaper, Communist Review, and newspapers of provincial and central cities party committees strictly comply with legal provisions on public utility tariffs in press publishing.

Refer to other regulations in Circular 04/2016/TT-BTTTT which took effect from April 1, 2016.
