- The implementation of preparing dossiers of Vietnamese officials, including the time of preparing dossiers; verification and confirmation of the accuracy of information declared by officials, and the endorsement by the respective authorities, organizations, or units for management.

- The supplementation of dossiers of Vietnamese officials, including the time of dossier supplementation; the responsibility to collect documents related to officials under the management of the inspection subject to add to the official's dossier.

- The transfer, receipt, research, and use of dossiers of Vietnamese officials.

- The confidentiality of dossiers and the reporting policies on the management of dossiers of Vietnamese officials.

- Assurance of the completeness of documentary components in dossiers of Vietnamese officials:

+ General documents: Officials' profile book; Officials' résumés according to form 2c-BNV/2008; profile supplementation sheet made in form 04a-BNV/2007; copy of the birth certificate; Health certificate; Initial asset declaration, annual asset declaration, and other documents as prescribed by law

+ Copies of degrees, certificates, scientific research topics and works, and other related documents.

+ Decisions related to the recruitment, employment, and management of each official.

+ Self-reviews and assessment sheets of officials.

- Other contents as stipulated in Decision 14/2006/QD-BNV dated November 6, 2006, Decision 06/2007/QD-BNV dated June 18, 2007, Decision 02/2008/QD-BNV dated October 6, 2008, by the Minister of Home Affairs and other legal regulations on management of dossiers of Vietnamese officials.
