Maintenance Costs of Maritime Structures

Circular 52/2017/TT-BGTVT on regulations for maritime infrastructure maintenance was issued on December 29, 2017. The costs for maintaining maritime infrastructure are derived from the following sources:

- The state budget (central budget, local budget) is allocated annually for projects using state budget funds;- Revenue from maritime infrastructure usage fees outside the state budget;- Investors' or owners' capital for commercial maritime infrastructures;- Contributions and mobilization from organizations and individuals;- Other legitimate sources of capital.

The determination of maintenance costs for maritime infrastructures follows Circular 03/2017/TT-BXD which guides the determination of maintenance costs for construction works and current legal regulations, including new construction costs, and adjustments to economic-technical norms facilitating maritime infrastructure maintenance tasks.

The establishment, approval of annual maritime infrastructure maintenance plan costs, management, usage, payment, and settlement of maritime infrastructure maintenance costs are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the State Budget Law, Decree 46/2015/ND-CP and related legal regulations.
