Maintenance Activities for Maritime Security Alarm Systems

Circular 06 specifies that the components of a maintenance task are determined based on technological processes, technical characteristics, and maintenance instructions provided by the manufacturer for devices within the SSAS System. To be specific:

Preparation Work

- Prepare the necessary equipment for the maintenance task;- Collect maintenance documents including diagrams, catalogues, and maintenance forms;- Prepare the work area and safety equipment for the maintenance task.

Equipment Inspection Before Maintenance

- Inspect the operational functions of the equipment from the system;- Run the device's Test programs to check the status before maintenance;- Record the condition and parameters from the Test programs' results.

Perform Maintenance

- Clean and inspect the equipment condition when the power is off;- Inspect and calibrate technical parameters when the power supply is on;- Replace broken parts and accessories (if any).

Post-Maintenance Operational Check

- Run the control system's test programs;- Check the service functions and performance features of the equipment through actual system operations.

Completion of Work

- Reassemble the equipment;- Clean up the maintenance area, store all devices and measuring equipment in their designated places;- Completely record all content and results of the maintenance task into the maintenance form, log all work in the job diary, and report to the unit supervisor.

Circular 06/2018/TT-BGTVT takes effect from April 1, 2018.
