List of prohibited workplaces for minor employees in Vietnam

This is a notable regulation specified in Circular 10/2013/TT-BLDTBXH which regulates the List of prohibited workplaces for minor employees in Vietnam.

Circular 10/2013/TT-BLDTTBXH promulgated the List of prohibited workplaces for minor employees in Vietnam. Specifically, in addition to the workplaces stipulated in points a, b, c, d of Clause 2 Article 165 Labor Code 2012, the employment of minors is prohibited at the workplaces specified in Clause 1 Article 163 and point dd Clause 2 Article 165 as follows:

- Exposure to labor hygiene environmental factors that do not meet current legal hygiene standards, such as electromagnetic fields, vibration, noise, temperature, silica dust, non-silica dust, cotton dust, asbestos dust;

- Exposure to radiation, radioactive materials, X-rays, and other harmful rays that do not meet current legal hygiene standards;

- Exposure to infectious disease factors;

- Working over 4 hours/day in confined, cramped spaces, jobs requiring kneeling, lying down, or bending;

- At heights or on suspended cables more than 3 meters above the work floor; on mountainous terrain with slopes over 30 degrees.
