The list of medical technical services within the scope of coverage of participants in health insurance is stipulated in Circular 13/2020/TT-BYT as follows:

- The list of technical specialties in medical examination and treatment issued together with Circular 43/2013/TT-BYT dated December 11, 2013, of the Minister of Health specifying the detailed classification of technical specialties for the medical examination and treatment system (hereinafter referred to as Circular 43/2013/TT-BYT); Circular No. 21/2017/TT-BYT dated May 10, 2017, of the Minister of Health amending and supplementing the list of techniques in medical examination and treatment issued together with Circular 43/2013/TT-BYT dated December 11, 2013, of the Minister of Health specifying the detailed classification of technical specialties for the medical examination and treatment system (hereinafter referred to as Circular No. 21/2017/TT-BYT);

- The list of surgical and procedural classifications issued together with Circular 50/2014/TT-BYT dated December 26, 2014, of the Minister of Health specifying the classification of surgeries, procedures, and personnel norms for each surgery, procedure (hereinafter referred to as Circular No. 50/2014/TT-BYT);

- The medical technical services that have been approved by the Minister of Health for implementation at medical examination and treatment facilities but are not yet included in Circular 43/2013/TT-BYT, Circular 50/2014/TT-BYT, Circular 21/2017/TT-BYT.
