Decree 27/2015/ND-CP regulates that educators, education management officers teaching special fields and specialties can replace the provincial, ministry-level initiative criteria with one of the following achievements:

1.	Music	Composing and being performed by a professional art unit or broadcast constructed by the Voice of Vietnam or Vietnam Television; or winning an award from the Vietnam Musicians' Association: a) 01 multi-movement symphony over 20 minutes; b) 01 multi-movement symphony suite over 30 minutes; c) 01 choral piece over 40 minutes; d) 01 cluster of songs or instrumental pieces sufficient to form 01 solo recital (from 02 pieces or more); e) Winning 01 First Prize (Prize A) from the Vietnam Musicians' Association.
2.	Cinema	a) Directing 01 film (narrative, animated, documentary) awarded the Golden Lotus Award at the National Film Festival; Golden Kite Award from Vietnam Cinematography Association; First Prize/Golden Medal at the International Film Festival; b) Having 01 work winning Prize A (First Prize, Golden Kite) from the Vietnam Cinematography Association.
3.	Dance	a) Choreography for 01 dance drama of 45 minutes or more performed by professional art units or broadcast on Vietnam Television; b) Choreographing 01 program with 05 or more performances, including at least 01 performance winning a Gold Medal at national-level festivals, contests, and professional competitions; c) Successfully choreographing and staging 01 major festival program for the nation, province, or centrally-affiliated city; d) Composing 01 work winning Prize A (First Prize) from the Vietnam Dance Artists Association.
4.	Fine Arts	a) Creating 01 work displayed at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum; b) Creating 01 statue, bas-relief, or monumental painting selected for use in major national/provincial/centrally-affiliated city projects; c) Having 01 solo exhibition highly regarded by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association; d) Creating 01 work winning a Gold Medal at national or international Fine Arts exhibitions; e) Creating 01 work winning Prize A (First Prize) from the Vietnam Fine Arts Association.
5.	Theatre	a) Composing or directing, staging 01 play performed by a professional unit at theatres or constructed for broadcast by the Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam Television; b) Composing or directing, staging 01 excerpt winning a Gold Medal at national professional festivals, contests; c) Composing 01 work winning Prize A (First Prize) from the Vietnam Theatre Artists Association.
