Level of Autonomy Achieved After Graduating from Intermediate-Level Physical Therapy Engineering and Rehabilitation

On December 28, 2018, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs issued Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the minimum required knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating at intermediate level, college level for fields, and professions in health and social services.

In the regulation of the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners achieve after graduating from intermediate-level, college-level in the field of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Engineering, issued together with Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum degree of autonomy and responsibility that learners achieve after graduating from intermediate-level Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Engineering is specified as follows:

- Dedicated to the career of protecting, caring for, and improving the health of the people, wholeheartedly serving patients;

- United, affable, humble to colleagues; empathetic, sharing, considerate, and attentive to patients and their families;

- Honest, objective, and serious in professional work;

- Comply with legal regulations when practicing, seriously implement professional ethics, and the regulations of the workplace.

Furthermore, with the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating in the field of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Engineering at the intermediate level, they can continue to develop to higher levels. Graduates have the ability to self-study, self-update with scientific and technological advancements within the field to enhance their level, or pursue higher education at the same level in the same field or within the same group of fields or in the same training area.
