Law on emulation and commendation 2003 of Vietnam: Prohibited acts

The Law on emulation and commendation 2003 of Vietnam was promulgated on November 26, 2003, consisting of 8 chapters, 103 articles. There are acts strictly prohibited specified in this document.

Specifically, according to Article 14 of the Law on emulation and commendation 2003 of Vietnam, the following acts are strictly forbidden:

One, organizing emulation or commendation contrary to the State policies and laws; taking advantage of emulation or commendation for self-seeking purposes;

Two, obstructing or forcing people to participate in emulation movements;

Three, making false declaration; forging dossiers, making wrong certification or proposals for emulation or commendation;

Four, abusing one's positions and powers to propose or decide on commendation contrary to law;

Five, wasting the property of the State and collectives in emulation and commendation.
