Education Law 2019 was passed by the National Assembly at the 7th session of the 14th National Assembly on June 14, 2019, notably including the provision prohibiting teachers from smoking and drinking alcohol at schools.

According to the Education Law 2019, one of the prohibited acts in educational establishments is smoking and consuming alcohol.
Therefore, individuals such as teachers, lecturers, learners, students, and other related parties are strictly prohibited from smoking and consuming alcohol in educational establishments and schools.
Besides the aforementioned prohibited act, the Education Law 2019 also strictly prohibits other acts such as:
- Insulting the dignity and honor, infringing upon the body of educators, staff, employees of educational establishments, and learners;
- Distorting educational content;
- Cheating in studies, exams, tests, and admissions;
- Forcing students to take extra classes for monetary gain;
- Exploiting sponsorship and support for education to compel monetary or in-kind contributions.
