Law on compulsory purchase and requisition of property 2008 of Vietnam: Prohibited acts

The Law on compulsory purchase and requisition of property 2008 of Vietnam was promulgated on June 03, 2008 and consists of 4 chapters and 42 articles. There are acts which are strictly prohibited specified in this document.

Specifically, according to Article 12 of the Law on compulsory purchase and requisition of property 2008 of Vietnam, prohibited acts include:

One, conducting compulsory purchase and requisition of property that does not comply with the designated targets, conditions, authorities, and procedures as stipulated in this Law.

Two, taking advantages from one's position and authority in the compulsory purchase and requisition of property for embezzlement, corruption, personal gain, or other personal purposes.

Three, delaying, refusing, or resisting the implementation of the decision on compulsory purchase and requisition of property, as well as the decision to mobilize personnel to operate and control the requisitioned property.

Four, selling, exchanging, gifting, or engaging in other civil transactions that alter the ownership rights of property that have been subject to a compulsory purchase decision.

Five, damaging or altering the status of the property that have been subject to a compulsory purchase and requisition decision.

Six, obstructing or inciting others to obstruct the compulsory purchase and requisition of property.

Seven, managing or using the requisitioned property in contravention of the provisions of the law.
