Labor Norms in Geological Mapping Tasks

Circular 62/2017/TT-BTNMT was issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment on December 22, 2017, specifying the labor norm in the work of geological engineering mapping.

Circular 62 stipulates that the labor norm is the direct labor time necessary to produce a product (or to carry out a work step or a specific task).

Technical labor norm refers to labor trained in professional skills in the field of resources and environment and other related occupations, including: environmental resource investigators, technical workers, and drivers. It includes:

- Job content: including basic operations, main operations to perform the work step.- Difficulty classification: basic factors affecting the implementation of the work step. The levels of impact on execution time (time consumption) only differ from 10% to 20% (in rare cases, not more than 30% of adjacent types, grades, groups).- Staffing: determining the number and level of technical labor appropriate to the job requirement.- Norm: the amount of time for direct labor to produce a product; unit calculation is individual work or group work/unit of product.

Note that the working time in 01 working day (shift) is calculated as 08 hours for normal tasks; 06 hours for tasks in coastal sea areas. Working time according to the policies stipulated by the Labor Law.
