This is the content stipulated in Circular 40/2018/TT-BYT regulating the management of infectious disease specimens.
According to the provisions of Circular 40, in order to ensure proper preservation and storage, specimen samples must be labeled with the following information:
Label on each test tube or sample container includes the following information:
- Full name of the person sampled or identification number;- Type of specimen;- Time of sample collection.
Label on the outermost layer includes the following information:
- Name, phone number, and address of the sender;- Phone number of the person responsible;- Name, phone number, and address of the receiving facility;- Appropriate code according to United Nations regulations for international and domestic transport;- Required storage temperature;- When using dry ice or liquid nitrogen, specify the cooling substance, United Nations code, and net weight;- Corresponding classification label for transported samples according to each infectious substance.
