Vietnam Social Security issued Official Dispatch 265/BHXH-VP on February 7, 2025, to carry out key tasks after the Lunar New Year holiday in 2025.

Key tasks after Lunar New Year holiday in 2025 of Vietnam Social Security

Implementing Official Telegram 09/CD-TTg dated February 3, 2025, by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam on ensuring civilized, safe, and economical living standards in festival activities following the Lunar New Year and Spring Festivals in 2025; Directive 03/CT-TTg dated February 4, 2025, by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam on urging the implementation of key tasks after the Lunar New Year holiday in 2025, Vietnam Social Security requests affiliated units, agencies of provinces, central-affiliated cities to perform the following tasks:

- Strictly instruct each official and public employee, worker and organization to thoroughly and fully implement the directives of the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam in Official Telegram 09/CD-TTg dated February 3, 2025, and Directive 03/CT-TTg dated February 4, 2025, by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam (attached).

- Concentrate and vigorously implement the assigned tasks from the very first days and months of the new Lunar New Year; especially in the work of expanding social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance participants; promptly resolving and disbursing social insurance and unemployment insurance policies, ensuring the best benefits for participants and policy beneficiaries; proactively, actively grasp the situation, promptly apply suitable and effective commanding measures; accompany enterprises and citizens, promptly solve difficulties and obstacles in implementing policies and laws; promote and effectively organize patriotic emulation movements. Strive to achieve the highest possible levels for the goals and targets of 2025, making practical achievements to welcome the congresses of Communist Party members at various levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party, the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress; create a solid foundation to comprehensively and victoriously complete political tasks according to the 2021-2025 five-year socio-economic development plan.

- Urgently review, focus on implementation, resolution, and definitive handling, ensuring the completion of assigned tasks on schedule for the work and tasks assigned by the Government of Vietnam, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam, tasks under the main task program of 2024 to continue implementation in 2025 and at conclusion notices of Industry Leaders. During the implementation of assigned tasks, if difficulties and obstacles arise, promptly report and propose to Industry Leaders for consideration and resolution.

- Strictly observe administrative and financial discipline and order, practice thrift and combat waste, fight against corruption and negative issues; do not organize spring trips, New Year greetings during working hours; absolutely do not attend festivals during office hours; do not use state budget, vehicles, and public property unlawfully for festival activities.

In Official Telegram 09/CD-TTg dated February 3, 2025, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam requires officials and public employees, workers in state administrative agencies, related agencies, and organizations to strictly enforce administrative discipline, labor discipline, do not organize spring trips, New Year greetings during working hours, affecting the time and progress of work, especially for the local people. Absolutely do not attend festivals during office hours, do not use official vehicles for festival attendance, except when performing duties; do not unlawfully use state budgets, vehicles, and public property for festival activities. Leaders of ministries, agencies, and localities do not attend festivals without assignment from competent authorities.
