Job Positions for graduates of Plant Protection in Vietnam (Level 4 of VQF)

Pursuant to the regulation on the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements for learners after graduating with an intermediate degree or associate degree in Plant Protection, as issued with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that upon graduation with an intermediate degree in Plant Protection, learners shall possess the competencies to meet the requirements for the following job positions in the field:

- Pest investigation;

- Pest forecasting and prediction;

- Pest control;

- Agricultural extension in plant protection;

- Fertilizer and plant protection product business;

- Fertilizer and plant protection product testing.

Furthermore, the minimum knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating with an intermediate degree in Plant Protection allow for further development at higher levels; graduates will have the capability for self-learning and to continuously update scientific and technological advancements within the industry to enhance their qualifications or advance to higher-degree programs within the same field, related fields, or training domains.
