Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH of BLDTBXH stipulates the minimum amount of knowledge and the competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation from intermediate level and college level in the fields of health and social services, effective from February 10, 2019.

According to the regulation on the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from mid-level and college-level traditional medicine programs, issued together with Circular 54/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is specified that after graduating from a mid-level traditional medicine program, learners have the competency to meet the requirements of job positions in the field, including:
- Traditional medicine drug dispensing;- Acupuncture;- Massage - acupressure;- Herbal medicine preparation;- Business of finished traditional medicine products;- Traditional medicine practice at ward (commune) medical stations.
Additionally, with the minimum knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the mid-level traditional medicine program, they can continue to develop at higher levels. Graduates possess the capability for self-learning and self-updating of scientific and technological advances within the field to enhance their qualifications or undertake higher education in the same field or related fields.
