In the Regulation on Minimum Knowledge Volume, Competence Requirements for learners after graduation at intermediate and college levels in the field of power line installation and substations with voltage up to 110 kV issued together with Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the Installation of power lines and substations with voltage up to 110 kV at intermediate level is defined as an occupation where the practitioner executes construction, installation (erection), maintenance, and repair of power lines, substations, and other electrical facilities with voltage up to 110 kV; having sufficient health, stable psychology, quick and agile work style to work in harsh outdoor weather conditions, on high power poles ensuring occupational safety and 5S standards, meeting level 4 requirements in the Vietnamese National Qualification Framework.

The main tasks of the occupation include: Installing 0.4 kV twisted cable lines; installing overhead power lines up to 110 kV; installing distribution substations with voltage up to 35 kV; installing intermediate substations with voltage up to 110 kV; installing cabinets and panels for electrical facilities with voltage up to 110 kV; maintaining, repairing electrical facilities with voltage up to 110 kV.

Practitioners of Installing power lines and substations with voltage up to 110 kV must have sufficient health, stable psychology, quick and agile work style to work in harsh outdoor weather conditions, on high power poles ensuring occupational safety and 5S standards.

Minimum knowledge volume: 1,545 hours equivalent to 55 credits.

Notably, after graduation, learners are capable of fulfilling the requirements at job positions in the field, including:

- Installing 0.4 kV twisted cable lines;- Installing overhead power lines up to 110 kV;- Installing distribution substations with voltage up to 35 kV;- Installing intermediate substations with voltage up to 110 kV;- Installing cabinets and panels for electrical facilities with voltage up to 110 kV;- Maintaining, repairing electrical facilities with voltage up to 110 kV.
