Instructions on organizing Science and Technology Awards for students in Higher Education institutions for 2024 in Vietnam (Internet image) 

On February 20, 2024, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Official Dispatch 654/BGDDT-KHCNMT on the organization of Science and Technology Awards for students in higher education institutions in 2024.

Specifically, implementing Circular 45/2020/TT-BGDDT dated November 11, 2020 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating Regulations on awarding science and technology awards for young lecturers and students in higher education institutions (hereinafter referred to as Circular 45); Plan 112/KH-BGDDT dated January 29, 2024 on organizing the awarding of science and technology awards for students in higher education institutions in 2024 (hereinafter referred to as Award), the Ministry of Education and Training notifies and guides higher education institutions to apply for the Award as follows:

(1) Prize participants

Participants in the Award according to the provisions of Point b) Clause 3, Article 1 of Circular 45: are students studying at higher education institutions as of the time of submitting the application to participate in the Award (before June 30, 2024).

(2) Fields of the Award

The award considers topics in 6 fields of science and technology as prescribed in Article 3 of Circular 45, including: Natural sciences; Science, engineering and technology; Medical and pharmaceutical sciences; Agricultural science; Social science; Humanities.

(3) Conditions for topics to participate in the Award

Scientific research topics of students applying for the Award consideration must fully meet the conditions specified in Clauses 2, 3, 4, Article 4 of Circular 45.

(4) Number of topics submitted to participate in the Award

The number of scientific research topics submitted by students in a higher education institution to be considered for the Award is specified in Clause 2, Article 5 of Circular 45. Award Host Unit In 2024, 02 more topics will be submitted.

(5) Application for participation in the Award

* Time and method of submitting documents

- Time to submit applications: from May 30, 2024, to 17:00 on June 30, 2024.

- Method of submitting an application for consideration of the Award: send both word and pdf file formats to the email address: gtsvnckh2024@hcmue.edu.vn. The email subject clearly states: Name of unit_Topic participating in the 2024 Science and Technology Award for Students. Do not send hard copies.

* Validity of applications

Documents of topics participating in the Award selection must fully meet the regulations in Article 10 of Circular 45. Special note:

- Have complete documents as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 7 of Circular 45.

- Do not display information about the student, instructor, or name of the higher education institution in the summary report of the project, topic, or related scientific documents (if any), excluding the reference list. In special cases, where the name of the higher education institution is part of the topic name or research content, the application is considered valid.

- Documents in pdf format and word format must be the same.

- Applications for the Award are sent on time.
