* Note:

- The Opening Ceremony needs to be organized compactly, with students as the center, focusing on welcoming first grade students and ensuring it truly becomes a school opening day for students.

- After the opening of school, schools need to maintain the routine of singing the National Anthem in activities at the beginning of the week, such as celebrations, summaries, commendations, and rewards... All officials, teachers, staff, and students should sing the National Anthem in a solemn atmosphere with the correct words and melody.

- For Kindergarten level: Organize the opening ceremony in the form of "Children's School Day" in a flexible and creative manner with content appropriate to the child's physiological and psychological characteristics to make a good impression, ensure children's safety and health, and protect the environment on the first day of the new school year. The maximum duration of the organization is 60 minutes. The starting time for picking up and organizing children is agreed upon by the Department of Education and Training, which directs the preschool education facility to suit preschool children.

Organize activities at the beginning of the school year

- After the opening ceremony ends, schools and educational institutions organize activities at the beginning of the school year.

- Time: From 08:45 to 09:30 on September 5, 2023.

- Based on the local practical situation, the unit's conditions, and the specific characteristics of each educational level and field of study; schools and educational establishments proactively organize practical and meaningful activities to ensure disease prevention and control according to Central and City regulations (Introducing school traditions; introducing teachers; organizing learning of rules for students; implementing teaching plans for the new school year, etc.).

Uniforms for students

- Schools strictly implement the regulations in Circular 26/2009/TT-BGDDT, dated September 30, 2009, of the Ministry of Education and Training about wearing uniforms and graduation gowns for pupils and students; Students are not required to buy new uniforms; they need to wear clean and neat uniforms to encourage savings and create favorable conditions for students in difficult circumstances.

- School uniforms must have a simple design, be suitable for student ages and local culture, and be approved by the School Council and parents. The school can provide samples (style, color, logo, etc.) for parents to proactively shop for students.

- Schools do not let any student not be allowed to enter school because they do not have new uniforms.
