Inside the Ambulance Vehicle Must Have a 12V Power Socket

This is one of the internal standards for ambulances stipulated in Circular No. 27/2017/TT-BYT issued by the Ministry of Health on June 28, 2017.

Accordingly, Circular 27 stipulates the standards for equipment inside ambulances, including:

- Main stretcher: Sliding type, with safety belts, with wheels;- Seats for medical staff;- Plastic floor liners: Anti-slip, easy to clean, wash, and disinfect;- Interior lighting (for emergency patient care);- IV hook;- 12V power outlet;- Specialized compartments, racks, shelves, and cabinets for installing medical equipment in conjunction with the oxygen system, medical equipment, storing medicines, and emergency medical tools that ensure convenience in operation and easy cleaning, washing, and disinfection.- Emergency hammer;- In the case of an out-of-hospital emergency team, the ambulance must ensure the provision of medications and medical equipment in accordance with the regulations on the issuance of the list of emergency medicine valises, emergency tools, essential medicines, and essential medical equipment for an out-of-hospital emergency team on an ambulance;- Additionally, depending on the actual situation and professional requirements, the medical facility may equip additional necessary medical equipment to serve specialized needs, ensuring sufficient medical equipment, medicines, and instruments to serve patients.
