Information Regime on Operations in the Home Affairs Sector

Accordingly, regarding policies and responsibilities for providing information on the activities of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Circular 06 stipulates as follows:

- For quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports:

- The Ministry of Home Affairs consolidates and prepares quarterly reports, semi-annual reports, and annual summary reports on the activities of the Ministry of Home Affairs for submission to the Government of Vietnam, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam, and sends them to ministries and central authorities, as well as People's Committees of provinces and centrally affiliated cities.- Departments of Home Affairs of provinces and centrally affiliated cities consolidate and prepare quarterly reports, semi-annual reports, and annual summary reports on the activities of the Ministry of Home Affairs to be sent to local departments, committees, and district-level People's Committees.

In addition, Circular 06 outlines the responsibilities of the Office of the Ministry of Home Affairs as follows:

- Notify agencies and units of important guidelines, decisions, and directives issued by the Minister of Home Affairs regarding the implementation of the ministry's functions and tasks, as well as urgent matters assigned to the Ministry by the Government of Vietnam and the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam.- Organize press conferences following the issuance of important legal documents (if necessary), as well as periodic or thematic press conferences according to legal regulations, with news agencies and the press to provide information about the activities of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
