Incoterms (short for International Commercial Terms) is a set of international trade rules that are widely recognized and used around the world. The specific rules of Incoterms will be illustrated through the images in this article.

 Documents and guidelines on customs procedures according to Circular 39/2018/TT-BTC

In general, the rules in Incoterms 2010 are classified into 2 groups: the group of rules applicable to all modes of transport (such as EXW, FCA, CPT, CIP, DAT, DAP, DDP) and the group of rules applicable to maritime or inland waterway transport (such as FAS, FOB, CFR, CIF).

EXW – Ex Works

FCA – Free Carrier

FAS – Free Alongside Ship

FOB – Free on Board

CFR – Cost and Freight

CIF – Cost, Insurance, and Freight

CPT – Carriage Paid To

CIP – Carriage and Insurance Paid To

DAT – Delivered at Terminal

DAP – Delivered at Place

DDP – Delivered Duty Paid
