Recently, the Government of Vietnam has promulgated Decree 58/2019/ND-CP to regulate the levels of allowances and preferential subsidies for people with meritorious services to the revolution.
Appendix I issued in conjunction with Decree 58/2019/ND-CP specifies the detailed monthly allowance levels for wounded soldiers, effective from July 1, 2019, as follows:

- Reduction in working capacity from 41% - 50%: 1,695,000 VND- Reduction in working capacity from 51% - 60%: 2,112,000 VND- Reduction in working capacity from 61% - 70%: 2,692,000 VND- Reduction in working capacity from 71% - 80%: 3,103,000 VND- Reduction in working capacity from 81% - 90%: 3,714,000 VND- Reduction in working capacity from 91% - 100%: 4,137,000 VND- Wounded soldiers with a reduction in working capacity from 81% upwards: Allowance 815,000 VND- Wounded soldiers with a reduction in working capacity from 81% upwards with severe illness: Allowance 1,624,000 VND
Moreover, Decree 58/2019/ND-CP also stipulates the monthly allowance levels for caregivers of wounded soldiers at home and relatives of wounded soldiers, specifically:
- For caregivers of wounded soldiers at home:
- Reduction in working capacity from 81% upwards: 1,624,000 VND- Reduction in working capacity from 81% upwards with severe illness: 2,086,000 VND- Survivors' benefits for relatives of deceased wounded soldiers with a reduction in working capacity from 61% upwards: 911,000 VND- Biological father, mother, spouse, or child aged 18 or older living alone without support, orphans under 18, both parents deceased, currently receiving monthly survivorship benefits, are entitled to additional care benefits: 1,299,000 VND
