On November 03, 2015, the Government of Vietnam issued the Decree No. 111/2015/NĐ-CP on development of supporting industry.
According to Article 5 of the Decree No. 111/2015/NĐ-CP of the Vietnam’s Government, organizations and individuals transferring the technology related to manufacturing supporting products on the List shall benefit from technology transfer and other benefits as per the current regulations.
Specifically, application and transfer of technology in supporting industrial production on the List shall be received assistance from the supporting industry development program as follows:
- Projects on cooperation between producers and technology Owners shall receive partial funding;
- The fabrication of trial supporting products on the List shall be received up to 50% funding.
Besides, technology transfer related to material production projects using over 85% of materials from mineral processing including metal ore, non-metal ore and petrochemical products used for manufacturing supporting industrial products shall receive up to 75% funding from the State.
Thus, according to this regulation, organizations and individuals transferring the technology related to manufacturing supporting products on the List shall benefit from technology transfer and other benefits such as: projects shall receive partial funding; the fabrication of trial supporting products on the List shall be received up to 50% funding; concurrently, technology transfer related to material production projects using over 85% of materials from mineral processing shall receive up to 75% funding from the State.
