On June 19, 2024, the Government issued Resolution 94/NQ-CP on the Government's Action Program implementing Resolution 43-NQ/TW to continue promoting the tradition and strength of great national solidarity, building our country more prosperous and happy.

Improving guidelines and policies on great national solidarity of Vietnam 

To improve guidelines and policies on great national solidarity, to ignite the will and aspirations for national development, the Government requires Ministers of ministries, Heads of government agencies, Chairpersons of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to focus on directing and organizing the implementation of the following main tasks and solutions:

• Continue to summarize and evaluate the completion of policies and laws on great national solidarity in the new stage; awaken the potential and creativity of social strata, of the team of officials, civil servants, and public employees contributing to building and improving the socialist rule-of-law state.

• Enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the state apparatus and the political system; continue to strongly innovate the organization and operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, mass organizations, mobilize all resources to serve the country's development, focusing on the following main tasks and solutions:

  • Build a modern working class, strong in quantity and quality; with high-level expertise, professional skills, industrial style, labor discipline, adaptable to modern industrial production; having strong political bravery, class awareness, national pride, building a comprehensively developing, civilized, self-reliant, and self-resilient working class with the will and aspirations to advance, building new rural areas and rural industrialization and urbanization.

  • Build and develop an increasingly strong intellectual workforce with a reasonable structure, high quality, with appropriate mechanisms and policies to attract and make good use of Vietnamese intellectuals both at home and abroad.

  • Build and develop a strong team of entrepreneurs both in quantity and quality; develop a national strategy to develop the team of entrepreneurs by 2030, with a vision to 2045.

  • Strengthen the education of young generations on revolutionary ideals, ethics, lifestyle, patriotism, national pride, nurturing dreams, ambitions, will, aspirations to dedicate, and uphold the responsibility to society and the country.

  • Build youth movements for learning, labor, creativity, entrepreneurship, employment, pioneering in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; create an environment and conditions for young generations to develop healthily and comprehensively in intellect, physicality, and aesthetics.

  • Focus on building the image of Vietnamese women in the new era, promoting traditions, potentials, strengths, and the spirit of mastering oneself, and the aspirations to advance.

  • Enhance the role of war veterans in educating youth on patriotism and revolutionary traditions, promoting the essence and traditions of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers."

  • Promote the prestige and experience of the elderly in society, community, and family; have protective policies, support, and assist elderly people facing difficulties, loneliness, and without support.

  • Ensure equality, solidarity, mutual assistance among ethnic groups, promote internal strength and rise together; pay attention to the cultural identity and characteristics of each ethnic minority group in building, formulating, and implementing ethnic policies; focus on restructuring and strengthening the team of officials, civil servants, and public employees who are ethnic minorities and reputable people in ethnic minority areas.

  • Mobilize, unite, and gather religious organizations, dignitaries, practitioners, and religious followers to live "a good life, beautiful faith," closely attached and accompanying the nation, actively participating in national movements and patriotic emulation campaigns launched by the central and local governments.

  • Develop policies supporting overseas Vietnamese to have firm legal status; strongly mobilize overseas Vietnamese, especially young generations, to stay attached to their homeland, becoming a bridge between Vietnam and other countries.
