In implementing the Law amending Law on Property Auction 2024, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam issued Plan 6504/KH-UBND on October 24, 2024, with the following key points:

( 1 ) Propagating and disseminating the basic contents of the Law amending Law on Property Auction

Leading agency: City Council for Legal Dissemination and Education Coordination, districts, and Thu Duc City.

Coordinating agencies: City departments and agencies, specialized agencies under district-level People's Committees, Thu Duc City, and public information means in the city area.

Implementation timeframe: Q4 of 2024 and subsequent years.

( 2 ) Reviewing current legal texts related to property auction activities; proposing amendments, supplements, replacements, annulments, or issuing new legal texts to ensure compliance with the Law amending Law on Property Auction

Content of implementation: Departments and agencies, People's Committees of districts and Thu Duc City are responsible for reviewing current legal texts related to property auction activities; proposing amendments, supplements, replacements, annulments, or issuing new legal texts to ensure compliance with the Law amending Law on Property Auction 2024.

Executing agencies: Departments and agencies, People's Committees of districts, Thu Duc City.

Implementation timeframe: ongoing.

( 3 ) Organizing the review, announcement of administrative procedures about property auctions; registering, changing registration content of property auction enterprises and branches according to the Law amending Law on Property Auction

- Organizing the review, announcement of administrative procedures about property auctions according to the Law amending Law on Property Auction

Leading agency: Department of Justice.

Coordinating agencies: related departments and agencies.

Implementation timeframe: Q4 of 2024.

- Implementing registration, changing registration content of property auction enterprises, and their branches according to the Law amending Law on Property Auction 2024.

Leading agency: Department of Justice.

Coordinating agencies: related departments and agencies, organizations practicing property auctioning.

Implementation timeframe: ongoing.

( 4 ) Reviewing, updating, announcing the list of auctioneers, property auction practice organizations, and announcing on the portal; submitting to the Ministry of Justice the list of property auction practice organizations for announcement on the National Property Auction Portal

Implementation timeframe: ongoing.

( 5 ) Implementing periodic inspection and examination plans, strengthening unscheduled inspection and examination of property auction practice organizations

( 6 ) Performing periodic or ad hoc statistical reporting following regulations

Leading agency: Department of Justice.

Coordinating agencies: departments, agencies, property auction practice organizations.

Implementation timeframe: November annually and February of the following year or ad hoc as regulated.
