The organization of intermediate professional military subject final exams is conducted according to Circular 117/2009/TT-BQP as follows:

- At the end of each semester, the school organizes two exams to conclude the subjects. Students who did not attend the first exam or scored less than 5 in the first exam will be allowed to take the second exam. The second exam in that semester is organized at least 2 weeks after the first exam.

- Students who are absent for more than 20% of the total prescribed sessions for each subject are not allowed to sit for the first final exam. These students, after attending supplemental sessions to cover the missing content of the subject, will be allowed to take the second final exam. For students who were absent with legitimate reasons, the Military School Principal will consider treating this as the first exam. Students who do not attend supplemental sessions to cover the missing content because of prolonged absences without legitimate reasons will receive a score of 0, which will be recorded as their final exam score for that subject.- Students mentioned above who are absent for more than 20% of the total prescribed sessions for each subject will only be allowed to take one more final exam (if any) during break hours, on days off as decided by the Provincial Military School Principal.

- Students who are absent in the first final exam session without legitimate reasons must receive a score of 0, recorded as their final exam score for that session, and may only take one more final exam organized by the school in the second session. If the absence is due to legitimate reasons, the Military School Principal will consider allowing the student to take the exam in the second session but record it as their first attempt.- If after two attempts the score remains below 5.0, the student must register to retake the subject, with the number of exams allowed as stipulated in clause 1 of this Article. The Military School Principal will arrange the time for the retake and the completion of the exams before considering graduation eligibility.- The preparation time for each final exam depends on the number of course units of that subject. The Principal will specify the preparation and exam times in the time plan for each semester exam period. The time allotted for each written final exam ranges from 90 to 120 minutes, and for each multiple-choice final exam from 45 to 60 minutes. For special subjects, the final exam duration is decided by the Military School Principal.
