How Many People Are Needed to Work in the Centers for Disease Control?

Circular 26/2017/TT-BYT was issued by the Ministry of Health on June 26, 2017, stipulating in detail the number of personnel required in a disease control center.

Accordingly, Circular 26 stipulates that the number of employees at the Provincial Center for Disease Control is determined based on job positions according to the functions, tasks, and scope of activities of the Center and its departments, within the total number of employees of public service providers of the Provincial Department of Health, centrally-affiliated cities assigned or approved by the competent authority.

Based on the functions, tasks, organizational structure, and list of job positions approved by the competent authority, the Provincial Center for Disease Control annually formulates a plan to adjust the number of employees according to the workload, and reports to the Department of Health to submit to the competent authority for consideration and decision according to the provisions of the law to ensure the implementation of the assigned tasks.
