High School Graduation Exam Registration Dossier 2020

May 26, 2020, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT on the Regulations for the high school graduation exam.

Article 13 of the High School Graduation Exam Regulations issued with Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT

The detailed guidance on the registration dossier for the high school graduation exam 2020 is specified as follows:

- For subjects stipulated in point a, clause 1, Article 12 of these Regulations, the registration dossier includes: 02 identical registration forms; the original or a certified copy of the high school transcript or the supplementary education high school transcript or the test slip for self-study learners issued by the high school principal; valid certificates to enjoy preferential and encouragement policies (if any), a copy of the permanent resident registration book to enjoy preferential policies related to the place of permanent residence registration; 02 photos size 4x6 cm;

- For subjects stipulated in point b, clause 1, Article 12 of these Regulations, in addition to the dossiers specified in point a of this clause, the registration dossier must also include: A confirmation letter from the high school where the student studied in grade 12 or where the student registered for the exam regarding the academic performance classification for those students rated poorly in academic performance as stipulated in point b, clause 2, Article 12 of these Regulations; a copy of the secondary school graduation diploma; a confirmation letter of reserved scores (if any) certified by the high school principal where the student took the exam in the previous year;

- For students who have graduated from high school, the registration dossier includes: 02 identical registration forms; a copy of the high school graduation diploma; 02 photos size 4x6 cm;

- For students who have graduated from intermediate level, the registration dossier includes: 02 identical registration forms; 02 photos size 4x6 cm; a copy of the secondary school graduation diploma, a copy of the intermediate graduation diploma, a copy of the study record or transcript of high school cultural subjects as stipulated by the Education Law and current guidelines from the Ministry of Education and Training.

Regarding the place of registration:

- Subjects stipulated in point a, clause 1, Article 12 of these Regulations register at the high school where they studied in grade 12;

- Subjects stipulated in points b, c, clause 1, Article 12 of these Regulations register at the location (referred to as the registration place) designated by the Department of Education and Training. The head of the unit where the registration is conducted is responsible for performing tasks as stipulated in Article 60 of these Regulations.

The deadline for submitting registration dossiers is specified in the annual high school graduation exam organization guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training. When the registration deadline passes, if any mistakes or errors are discovered, students must promptly notify the high school principal or the head of the unit where the registration took place or notify the Exam Center Chief on the day of exam procedure completion to make necessary corrections and additions.

Registration Process:

- Students register according to the regulations and guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training;

- Students complete and submit the dossier for recognition of high school graduation at the high school or registration place as stipulated in the annual high school graduation exam organization guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training;

- The high school principal or head of the registration unit is responsible for guiding students in registration, collecting registration forms, entering student registration information, entering information on the academic results of grade 12 subjects for students in grade 12 in the exam year; organizing to review the registration dossiers and publicly announcing cases that do not meet the conditions for taking the exam as stipulated in clause 2, Article 12 of these Regulations at least 15 days before the exam date; managing the registration dossiers and transferring the dossiers, registration data to the Department of Education and Training;

- The Department of Education and Training manages the registration data and sends the data to the Ministry of Education and Training;

- The Ministry of Education and Training manages the nationwide registration data.
