Hanoi-Vietnam: What knowledge are required for general mechanical, Level 5 of VQF Advanced?

According to the regulations in Circular 56/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, general mechanical, Level 5 of VQF Advanced is a field that performs the tasks of operating and maintaining various types of machinery: cargo lifts, cranes, gantry cranes, mobile cranes, and other related machines to handle different types of goods according to specialized technical standards, ensuring labor productivity, technical safety, environmental hygiene, and compliance with specified timelines, meeting the requirements of Level 5 of VQF.

To practice the profession, learners must equip themselves with the following knowledge:

- Be able to describe the structure and working principles of various types of cargo lifts, cranes, gantry cranes, mobile cranes, and related machinery;

- Understand the concept, classification, properties, and conventions of goods labeling;

- Describe the structure and working principles of the components, mechanisms, and systems on various types of cargo lifts, cranes, gantry cranes, mobile cranes, and related machinery;

- Analyze some common reasons for malfunctions, methods to check, and repair common issues of various types of cargo lifts, cranes, gantry cranes, mobile cranes, and related machinery;

- Understand the utility, classification, methods of preservation, and use of materials used in cargo handling;

- Describe the process of regular maintenance and periodic maintenance of various types of cargo lifts, cranes, gantry cranes, mobile cranes, and related machinery;

- Present the methods of organizing and managing cargo handling;

- Describe the methods of operating various types of cargo lifts, cranes, gantry cranes, mobile cranes, and related machinery;

- Present common incidents and handling measures during the cargo handling process;

- Understand the regulations on labor safety and hygiene;

- Present basic knowledge on environmental protection, energy, and effective resource use;

- Understand the basic knowledge of politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, and physical education as per the regulations.
