Circular 113/2007/TT-BQP stipulates that wounded invalids, individuals enjoying the same benefits as wounded invalids, Class B wounded invalids, and resistance activists suffering from exposure to toxic chemicals who are receiving monthly allowances and undergoing rehabilitation treatment as prescribed by a hospital or competent Medical Assessment Council shall be entitled to:

  • Traveling expenses according to state-regulated prices for common means of transport such as passenger automobiles, trains, and ships from the unit or family to the nearest specialized technical orthopedic and rehabilitation facilities;
  • Daily meal allowance of 30,000 VND during the rehabilitation treatment period at the orthopedic and rehabilitation facility.

Simultaneously, payment for traveling expenses and meal allowances will only be made if there are sufficient bus or train tickets, discharge notes, and confirmation from the service provider, with records logged in the Monitoring Register. The payment of traveling expenses will not be made if the unit has already arranged vehicles for the individuals.
