Hanoi-Vietnam: Structure of the Vietnamese language curriculum for overseas Vietnamese

On November 26, 2018, the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training issued Circular 28/2018/TT-BGDDT stipulating the Vietnamese language curriculum for overseas Vietnamese.

The Curriculum is designed according to 3 levels, 6 stages in ascending order as follows: stage 1, stage 2, stage 3, stage 4, stage 5, and stage 6. Hours of study of each stage are 220 hours. To be specific:

Note: Teaching-learning duration of each stage shall not be expressed by weeks, months, or years but hours. Each training institution is given discretion as to choose 2 to 5 sessions a week, 3 to 5 hours a session.
