Hanoi-Vietnam: Sequence for a meeting of the Advisory Council for evaluation and acceptance of ministerial-level science and technology tasks

The Council meeting is conducted as follows:

- Participants of the Council meeting: Council members, hosts of science and technology tasks, representatives of the host organization, administrative secretary, and guests.

- The administrative secretary announces the decision to establish the Council and introduces the participants and delegates attending.

- The Chairperson of the Council presides over the meeting; and agrees on and approves the Council's working agenda.

- The Council elects a member as the scientific secretary to record the discussion opinions at the meeting, and draft and complete the evaluation and acceptance minutes according to the conclusions at the Council meeting.

- The hosts of science and technology tasks present a summary of the organization and implementation process of the task; report the scientific products and self-evaluate the task results.

- Council members pose questions to the hosts of science and technology tasks regarding the results and issues related to the task. The hosts of science and technology tasks and relevant individuals answer the Council's questions (if any) and do not continue to attend the Council meeting.

- Representatives from related agencies express their opinions (if any).

- The reviewers read their comments and evaluation results, and Council members give their comments, evaluations, and discussions.

- Council members evaluate the results by voting according to the form (PL5-PDGKQ).

- The Council appoints a Vote Counting Committee that consists of two members (the committee chairman is the scientific secretary and one member is the administrative secretary), to help the Council compile the results according to the prescribed form (PL5-BBHD.KP).

- The results of the evaluation and acceptance of the scientific and technological task are recorded in the meeting minutes for ministerial-level acceptance according to the form (PL5-BBHD).

The Council only convenes when at least two-thirds of the Council members attend, including the participation of the Chairperson of the Council (or Vice Chairperson of the Council) and two reviewers. Depending on specific cases, representatives from organizations applying the task results, managing bodies, localities, and enterprises may be invited to attend the Council meeting.
