According to Article 9 of Circular 35/2020/TT-BGDDT, the professional titles of teaching public employees stipulated in Circular 35/2020/TT-BGDDT are applied the Professional and Specialized Payroll for officials and public employees in state public service providers (Table 3), issued together with Decree 204/2004/ND-CP dated December 14, 2004, of the Government of Vietnam regarding the salary policies for officials and public employees and armed forces. To be specific:

- The professional title of senior lecturer teaching at pedagogical college (grade I) is applied the salary coefficient of public employee category A3, group 1 (A3.1) from a salary coefficient of 6.20 to a salary coefficient of 8.00;- The professional title of principal lecturer teaching at pedagogical college (grade II) is applied the salary coefficient of public employee category A2, group 1 (A2.1) from a salary coefficient of 4.40 to a salary coefficient of 6.78;- The professional title of lecturer teaching at pedagogical college (grade III) is applied the salary coefficient of Category A1 public employee, from a salary coefficient of 2.34 to a salary coefficient of 4.98.

Note: The salary classification for professional titles is performed once the public employee has been appointed to the professional title by the competent authority as stipulated in Circular 35/2020/TT-BGDDT and the salary classification is carried out according to the guidance in Clause 1, Section II of Circular 02/2007/TT-BNV dated May 25, 2007, of the Ministry of Home Affairs, which provides guidance on salary classification when promoting rank, transferring rank, and changing category for officials and public employees, and according to current legal regulations.
