Hanoi-Vietnam: Retraining contents for occupational safety and hygiene trainers

According to Circular 19, the contents of courses for occupational safety and hygiene trainers in Vietnam include:

1. With regard to trainers working for eligible providers of training courses or enterprises eligible for self-training:

- Training in practices in terms of occupational safety and hygiene include: Policies, law on occupational safety and hygiene; making of occupational safety and hygiene management system; safety culture in business; self-inspection; investigation of occupational accidents; testing and training in occupational safety and hygiene...

- Training in skills for occupational safety and hygiene trainers include: Lecture development; presentation; counseling, guidance, propagation of occupational safety and hygiene; organization of training courses; using training aids.

- Training in compulsory seminars include: Occupational safety and hygiene in manufacture, erection, inauguration, and repair of electrical equipment; occupational safety and hygiene in chemical-related activities; occupational safety and hygiene in building and mineral extraction;...

- Other intensive training in conformity with capacity of trainers and registered by trainers

2. With regard to trainers who solely provide training for group 4 at enterprises or practice trainers:

- Training in professional competence: Policies, law on occupational safety and hygiene; making of occupational safety and hygiene management system; safety culture in business...

- Contents of training in skills: Lecture development; presentation; counseling, guidance, propagation of occupational safety and hygiene; organization of training courses; using training aids...

The training program may be found in Circular 19/2017/TT-BLDTBXH effective from August 15, 2017.
