Hanoi-Vietnam: New contents regarding the Enrollment Scheme according to Circular 07/2018/TT-BGDDT

On March 1, 2018, the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training issued Circular 07/2018/TT-BGDDT amending and supplementing the name and certain provisions of the Regulation on enrollment for full-time undergraduate and college programs in pedagogy training majors, which was issued along with Circular 05/2017/TT-BGDDT. Notably, the new contents regarding the Enrollment Scheme are as follows:

Circular 07/2018/TT-BGDT stipulates that the Enrollment Scheme must ensure the full provision of information on the quality assurance conditions: facilities (classrooms, practice/laboratory rooms, and essential equipment, learning materials), teaching staff, training scale, the employment rate of regular students within 12 months after graduation in the last 2 years compared to the year of enrollment by sector.

In case of any changes to the scheme content, the school must publicly announce and disclose at least 10 days prior to the first day when candidates adjust their aspirations and must inform the concerned candidates about the changes to the school's scheme content.

Schools that do not fully disclose the information as required by these regulations are not allowed to announce the enrollment. In the case of providing information inconsistent with actual conditions, they shall be handled according to the regulations.

Circular 07/2018/TT-BGDDT takes effect from April 16, 2018.
