  • If the applicant for a new, replacement, or reissued ID card has no permanent residence but a temporary residence, the residence information shown on the ID card is the temporary residence of the cardholder.

  • If the applicant for a new, replaced, or reissued ID card has neither a permanent nor temporary residence due to insufficient conditions to register, the residence information shown on the ID card is the current address of the cardholder.

  • If the applicant for a new, replacement or reissued ID card lacks residence information in the National Population Database, the identity management agency is responsible for guiding the citizen in registering for permanent or temporary residence or declaring residence information.
