Route inspection (including regular route inspection and nighttime signal inspection)

Update, fully record, and archive records as prescribed.

Prepare reports on the handling and timely settlement of actual flow developments

Record images of the route inspection process of changes and new appearances (signal positions, obstacles, shoals, channel situation, vehicle parking, signal maintenance work)

Weekly and monthly, give opinions to reflect and report to competent authorities for timely handling if there are illegal works or parked vehicles that violate or encroach on the protection area of inland waterway channels

Have a full and timely report and propose solutions if there are works that are not on the list of units or contractors performing maintenance that have not yet installed signals or installation signals that do not meet the requirements for the color, features and situations of the works for the fairway route

Have reports and proposals for solutions if there are construction works (construction, removal of obstacles, exploitation of natural resources, other underwater activities) related to waterway traffic safety

Unexpected inspection after natural disasters, inspection of traffic works, and participation in accident handling

Have documents proving the inspection immediately after a natural disaster or accident occurs or inspecting traffic works related to waterway traffic as prescribed

Have a plan for handling, settling and reporting in a timely manner

Have records archived at the unit on natural disaster prevention and control and search and rescue in the field of inland waterways

Update the dossier of inspection results and fully comply with the requirements of the competent authority on coordination in the process of handling and settlement related to works, accidents, and timely report

On duty to ensure traffic

Assign personnel to be on duty, record and update complete information

Archive dossiers and periodic reports as prescribed

On the route, have no accidents caused by subjective causes of units or contractors performing regular maintenance of inland waterway works

Take measures to ensure traffic safety when accidents occur on routes within the scope of regular maintenance of inland waterway works

Promptly report to competent agencies and investors, supervision consultants (if any) immediately after the occurrence of traffic accidents in accordance with regulations on organization of search and rescue of inland waterway traffic
