Guidelines on Reporting Political Education Activities and Educational Affairs for Students

Recently, the Ministry of Education and Training has issued Circular 19/2020/TT-BGDDT stipulating the policies on periodic reporting under the scope of state management.

The reporting on the student situation and the results of implementing political education and student affairs is conducted as follows:

  1. Required report content: Student situation; results of implementing political education and student affairs; general evaluation; orientation and tasks for the next semester or academic year; recommendations, proposals (if any).

  2. Reporting subjects, report recipients, and reporting processes:

- District Department of Education and Training (DOET) reports to Provincial Department of Education and Training (PDOT); PDOT reports to the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET);- Institutions of higher education report to MOET.

  1. Reporting periods: Semester 1 report; academic year report.

  2. Reporting submission and receipt methods: Follow the provisions in Article 6 of this Circular.

  3. Report data cut-off time:

- Semester 1 preliminary report: From the beginning of the academic year to the end of Semester 1 according to the annual academic calendar;- Academic year summary report: From the beginning of the academic year to the end of the academic year according to the annual academic calendar.

  1. Report submission deadlines:

+ For paper reports:- DOET sends reports to PDOT by January 25 and June 25 each year.- PDOT and higher education institutions send reports to MOET by January 31 and June 30 each year.

+ For reports via MOET's Reporting Information System, follow the provisions in Clause 6 Article 7 of this Circular.

  1. Report outline template: Template No. 02 in Appendix I issued with this Circular.
