Guidelines on How to Fill Out a Fixed-term Employment Contract Template for Public Employee

To ensure the accuracy of the content of the Fixed-term Employment Contract for public employees, one can refer to the guidelines on how to record the contract according to the content provided below.

Based on Circular 03/2019/TT-BNV, the information recording on the Fixed-term Employment Contract is conducted as follows:

(1) Name of the representative unit: Clearly state the name of the public service provider.

(2) Type of fixed-term employment contract: Clearly state the fixed-term contract with the specific start and end dates.

(3) Workplace: Clearly state the house number, street, ward (village, commune), district (town, district-level town), province, city under the province or the Central Government.

(4) Duties: Clearly state the duties to be undertaken.

(5) Working hours: Clearly state the number of working hours per day, or per week, or during office hours.

(6) Means of transport for work: The means of transport for work are provided by the unit or arranged by the public employee themselves.

(7) Job title (code): Clearly state the job title appointed, the main salary level, and the form of salary payment (time-based salary, contracted...).

(8) Allowances: Clearly state the percentage rates of allowances (if any) such as area, cost of living adjustment, hazardous, attraction, seniority, responsibility, etc.

(9) Insurance regime: Clearly state the social insurance benefits and other allowances that the public employee is entitled to. For example: Entitled to social insurance benefits according to the current policies of the State.

(10) Rewards, salary increases, promotions, etc.: Clearly state the benefits the public employee is entitled to as mentioned in this section.

(11) Other agreements: Other agreements often include incentives and benefits for the public employee such as: Cheap items that are easily damaged, when damaged or lost, do not need to be compensated, performing well in the Employment Contract results in free travel, vacation, sightseeing, receiving the 13th, 14th months' salary, additional leave days up to a week, additional compensation for accidents outside of working hours, birthday gifts, etc.
