SELF-CULTIVATION, TRAINING, STRIVING IN 2017

After studying and learning the resolutions and regulations of the Communist Party, I commit to seriously implementing the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee, 12th tenure, on “Strengthening Party building and rectification; preventing and repelling the degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, the manifestations of “self-evolution”, “self-transformation” internally”, Directive 01-CT-TW dated March 22, 2016, from the Politburo on "Studying, mastering, propagating, and implementing the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress", Directive No. 05-CT/TW, dated May 15, 2016, from the Politburo on “Promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style” and Regulation No. 101-QD/TW, dated June 7, 2012, from the Secretariat of the 11th tenure on “The responsibilities of setting examples for officials, Party members, particularly key leaders at all levels”, with the following main contents:

1. Regarding political ideology

- I am always loyal and steadfast with Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's ideology, and the Party’s renovation guidelines, thoroughly grasping the Party’s charter and resolutions at all levels;

- Always comply well with the Party’s policies and the State’s laws;

- Always propagate and motivate relatives and the public to comply and implement well the law, the Party and State’s renovation guidelines and policies, with no manifestations of ideological deterioration, “self-evolution”, “self-transformation”.

2. Regarding ethics and lifestyle

- I continuously train, cultivate myself and endlessly "Follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style";

- Maintain a transparent, simple, exemplary lifestyle;

- Preserve the revolutionary moral qualities, promote pioneering and exemplary spirit in work and life, in the fight against individualism, bureaucracy, corruption, and wastefulness;

- Comply with the Central Executive Committee’s regulations on the issues that Communist Party members must not do;

-  No manifestations of ethical lifestyle degradation.

3. Regarding the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities

- Always uphold the spirit of responsibility in performing tasks;

- Innovate methods and working styles;

- Comply and protect, propagate, motivate officials, Party members, family, and the public to implement the Party’s guidelines, viewpoints, and resolutions, and the State’s laws;

- Actively study to improve professional skills and working capacity;

- Complete well the assigned duties and responsibilities.

4. Regarding organizational discipline

- Strictly implement the Party's organizational principles, exemplarily comply with resolutions, directives, decisions, and take the lead in implementing regular Party life policies.

5. Regarding overcoming and rectifying the limitations, shortcomings over time and through evaluation, assessment of the quality of officials and Party members at the end of 2017

- Be bold in criticism and self-criticism, fight against manifestations of division and regionalism;

- Willingly listen to criticism from the public, colleagues, and superiors;

- Strictly adhere to the State's policies and laws and the local rules, regulations, and guidelines;

- Always have an open attitude toward accepting and correcting shortcomings and improving.

6. Regarding the action plan to implement the 12th Party Congress Resolution, the 15th Provincial Party Congress:

- Strive to well implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW, dated May 15, 2016, from the Politburo on “Promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style”;

- Strictly implement the Central Executive Committee’s regulations on the issues that Communist Party members must not do;

- Propagate and motivate the public to well implement the Party's guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, and local regulations.

This commitment is also my action plan content for self-cultivation, training, striving, and is a basis for review and evaluation of officials, Party members at the end of 2017.
